Happy May, everyone!
We hope you are all safe, healthy, and making the best of this time at home!
We have to admit, it is a new normal for us. Our mamas are at home with their children, homeschooling, digging deep, and continuing to reach their goals. When they’re not doing math and science with their kiddos, they are watching a few virtual classes - Celebrate Recovery, Bible Studies, etc. We want to provide them with every opportunity to continue their progress during this time.
Now, more than ever, we are especially grateful to you - our friends, for allowing Exodus to continue serving the women and children of Exodus. It is more evident than ever that people are struggling - losing their jobs, keeping their kids at home, with very few ways to keep a roof over their head during this time.
We can’t help but wonder, “What if?” What if Exodus was not able to serve families? These women and children would be homeless. They wouldn’t have the ability or the support to be able to focus on their children and their recovery. In many cases, they might be more inclined to resort to old ways to provide for their family. We are SO THANKFUL that is not the current reality for our families, and your continued support allows them to thrive, and not merely survive.
We wanted to give you a very clear picture of who and what you’re supporting when you give financially.
North Texas Giving Tuesday is NEXT TUESDAY, May 5th. This is a huge online giving event for North Texas Charities, to help support non-profits during this time. There are so many ways YOU can support Exodus Ministries!
