December Newsletter - Exodus Ministries

Thank you for your faithfulness this year!  Because of you, we have been able to keep our doors open, and continue to provide much needed counseling, guidance, and material support for our precious families. This year has been full of unique challenges, but God has truly provided through you! Your continued financial support, along with so many donated consumables and supplies, as well countless volunteer hours, have been a tremendous blessing to everyone at Exodus Ministries.  

In response to the pandemic last Spring, we sheltered in place, stopped all programming, and pivoted to homeschool learning for our children. Our resident families were great troopers as they adjusted to endless changes -- sometimes even weekly changes -- without complaining.  Meanwhile, our class instructors were on standby as we all learned to implement our Life Skills classes on Zoom. We are all experts at Zoom meetings now! Thankfully, our faithful counselors were able to maintain weekly in-person counseling sessions with our women and school-age children. 

Moving into Fall, we were able to resume our traditional class schedule, and have had many volunteers come back to Exodus to rock babies, build legos, and play board games with our children in Children’s Ministry. Families have returned to church, school and work. Hooray! So, for now, we are settling into this new normal. Through it all, we acknowledge that Exodus Ministries would not be possible without your tireless support! You have donated Easter Baskets, Mother’s Day Gifts, Thanksgiving turkeys and baskets, and have now adopted our families for Christmas! What an incredible expression of the Body of Christ! Your continual donations of snacks, supplies, and consumables have allowed us to continue to serve our families all year long. Your very real support has helped us provide a safe, stable environment for our families as they learn, and even flourish, on their journey to a new life. God is truly transforming lives daily at Exodus Ministries, and YOU are a huge part of their success!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are so grateful for you. May God bless each of you abundantly as we bring 2020 to a close!
