Happy April!

We truly hope you are staying in and staying safe! As most of the world is figuring out a new normal - jobs interrupted, restructuring school, grocery runs, and staying home, many of our moms are right there with you.

Although our classes and volunteer activities have stopped, in order to protect everyone involved, the lives of our residents do not. These women are still striving to maintain their sobriety during a stressful time. Since we are considered a social service, we are still operating [though staggering staff and being careful]. We want to make sure our ladies are not left without the support and care we offer them each and every day. Case Management, counseling, budgeting, and daily check ins are still going strong.

Our moms are figuring out how to teach and keep their children entertained and fed all day. We often hear them in the courtyard working on ABC’s, division, and encouraging their children to run some of their energy off! :)

Even in a pandemic, it is an honor to serve them, and to walk alongside them every day. We are still accepting new families, and loving them right where they are.

We have had so many people reach out to us to ask what our current needs are during this pandemic! Many of our moms are no longer working, but are still needing to feed their families during this time. We have had groups drop by with bags and boxes of food, easy snacks, non-perishables, and essential needs.

We truly could not do any of this without people like you. Your support means the world to us, and to the families we serve! Here are just a few!

Shout-out to Mike and Donna Webster, who dropped off groceries, so our women and children don't have to walk to the store for food! We are so grateful to our sweet community who love our families !

The families we serve are still here, and the lights still need to be on. We are asking you to help them out by becoming a monthly donor, at any level!

“New sight didn’t come from someone giving me a summary on how to get through tough times. It came from hitting rock bottom, knowing what suffering is, feeling what love can do, and continuing to let both teach me in the years that followed.” ― Lisa Gungor

We want to pray for you during this time. Reply to this email with any prayer requests you have, and we would be honored to pray for you!
