“I love that Exodus has given me a chance to start my life over. The staff is great. Very patient, willing to provide guidance when needed. Always willing to listen and help. Due to Exodus, I have another chance to be a mom, learn responsibility, how to be a single mom, cook, clean, and take care of [my son]. I’m learning to be okay with myself and learning how to live alone. I wouldn’t know how to do any of these things if it weren’t for God and Exodus.

“I’m not sure where to begin exactly, but the most obvious and most dear to my heart: the fact I get to have my kids with me day in, and day out in a safe environment. Not worrying when or how we will eat, or where we will stay, or if they will have to watch their dad hurt me anymore. It’s priceless. The next biggest thing to me is actually knowing people love me. I have a family now, outside of my own kids. I have never had much support back home and kept wondering why I couldn’t stay sober. Support from a loving family who actually care about me and my kids is amazing. Something I always wanted but never had. Exodus has also given me a chance I didn’t know existed to stand on my own, and support my kids through a complete change in lifestyle. Thank you Exodus for my life.
