Please join us for this year’s Sporting Clay Shoot Challenge! All proceeds from the event will go directly to benefit the children and families served by Exodus, in Dallas and throughout Texas. The tournament consists of teams of four shooters, shooting clays on one of two courses that are designed to simulate hunting various game birds to test all skill levels.

Registration: 7:30 a.m. | Shotgun start: 9 a.m. (followed by lunch and a raffle)

Exodus Ministries is a safe, stable, loving environment where formerly incarcerated single moms can heal from the abuse and trauma of their past and gain the life skills necessary to become the women and mothers that God intends for them to be. Though many of our women have never had accountability in the their lives, Exodus Ministries provides its residents with daily accountability -- while gently preserving their dignity. Our resident moms are affirmed from DAY 1 that they have enormous value and worth, and that who they are is not measured by what they've done in the past. This is a new concept for them, and many find it odd when they hear it for the first time.

FAQs

- What to wear? While this is a red carpet premiere, we want everyone to feel comfortable. Gentlemen, feel free to wear jeans and a sport coat. Ladies, you can go as casual as pants and a dressy top or put on that cute cocktail dress you’ve been wanting to wear:) For the kids, we ask that they are in Sunday-type of attire. No shorts please. 

- Where to park? Parking is super easy at Fellowship Dallas. Pick a space, and come on up the red carpet. 

- What to expect? i.e. food, red carpet, fun, etc.  The event is going to be fun for all. Walk the red carpet and take selfies. Once inside, taste delicious munchies and shop from vendors until the movie starts. The film is a short film and will run no longer than 45 minutes. After the film, we’ll auction off 3 fabulous packages so bring your credit card:) 

It says kid-friendly. Can I bring my young children? We recommend kids 10 and older attend the event. However, if you have a younger child who can sit still and remain quiet, feel free to bring him or her.

If you are purchasing a block of tickets, we’ll email your tickets and instructions a week prior to the event. You can forward the email to your guests. We’ll also have a list at the door.

John Elmore

John Elmore was raised in Springfield, Missouri, and came to Texas through attending Baylor University. In 2005, after eight years in advertising, sales and reckless, foolish living in Austin, John found himself walking into an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting following a family intervention.  At the age of 30, he surrendered his life to Jesus, and He began to change everything. Addictions, hopelessness, anxiety, and depression quickly turned to freedom, purpose, peace and joy. John enrolled in the Kanakuk Institute to be discipled and learn the Bible, earned an MA in Youth and Family Ministry from John Brown University (’07) and a ThM with Honors in Systematic Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary (’11) – while serving with ministries in Dallas, Haiti and Sudan along the way.  

John now serves as the senior director of pastoral care and the director of re:generation at Watermark Community Church in Dallas. As a recovering alcoholic, now fifteen years sober, John knows firsthand the wreckage that comes from living a life disconnected from God and isolated from His people. Considering himself “one beggar telling another where to get the Bread,” (John 6:35) it is now his life’s purpose to point people to the Healer, Redeemer, Creator and Deliverer. John lives with his wife and best friend, Laura, and their three children.

John recently released his first book Freedom Starts Today: Overcoming Struggles and Addictions One Day at a Time. This book is what he needed when he was zero days sober. It is not a book you read, it’s a book you do – it’s a ten-minute-a-day for 90 days path into healing and freedom from any struggle or addiction by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Janeé Hill

Janeé Hill is a television producer/host, author, speaker and the founder of H3 Ministries. H3 Ministries is a nonprofit organization designed to share the hope, help, and healing power of Christ through media, mentorship, and meaningful programs. 

 During the height of the pandemic in 2020 when many organizations halted programming, Janeé utilized her family lake-house and land, on Lake Nocona, TX, to host camps for women and girls. These camps were based on purposeful fun, in an intimate setting, designed to draw participants closer to Christ. 

After seeing the success of these programs, Janeé developed a sustainable business model for H3 Ministries to expand upon the work the Lord had done. In the Summer of 2021, H3 Ministries' programs tripled in size and added a mother/ daughter program. Over 20 women and girls came to know Christ! H3 Ministries is now adding a leadership program for kids and God-willing, will own its own camp facility in the near future.  

Janeé's life has shifted greatly in the past year, and she encourages each of us to be open to HIS holy shift. To God be the glory!

Elm Fork has developed into one of North Texas’ most challenging shooting venues. Featuring two sporting clays courses located in a naturally wooded area, creating many unique and challenging targets that you and your team will be sure to enjoy. The tournament consists of teams of four shooters, shooting clays on one of two courses that are designed to simulate hunting various game birds to test all skill levels.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The “shotgun” start is at 9 a.m., followed by lunch, and a raffle.

Shooters are required to bring their own ammunition.
