The Top Golf Blast! event last fall was our first annual, and it was just that, a BLAST!! There was so much fun, laughter and good food, we have decided to move this year’s event up to the Spring. You do not have to be a golfer to have a great time at Top Golf.
The Top Golf Blast! is a fundraiser sponsored by and benefiting Exodus Ministries. When was the last time you had a chance to participate in the rescue and redemption of a soul whose past has been chaotic, and whose future promises to be bright while hitting golf balls?
Each admission is $75 which includes a full breakfast, and having more fun than a barrel of primates!! If you put together a team of six (6), your team will be entered into a special drawing for teams only. At the end of play, there will be a drawing open to all players who buy tickets which are $25 each or five (5) tickets for $100.
The silent auction will offer many exciting and worthwhile items on which you can bid and benefit Exodus Ministries.
Sign up today and reserve your spot.
The work is gratifying but without folks like you, Exodus simply does not happen.
How can you help? Excellent question! We are currently gathering new items which can be part of the silent auction which will occur at Top Golf Blast! If you are a business and donate items for the silent auction, and have a banner you would like to display at the event, we can acknowledge your contribution to Exodus Ministries. Even if you do not have a banner, we will acknowledge your generosity during the silent auction.
If you are not a business, please do not feel as if you are left out. You are welcome, indeed invited, to participate by donating items for the silent auction.
Are you or your business interested in donating an item, gift certificate, or service to our silent auction? Please respond to this email!
If you have ever been to Exodus Ministries and seen the mothers and children at work on rebuilding and restoring their families, it is a sight to behold. Does everything progress smoothly with never a bump encountered? Certainly not, but to see the mothers and children close the door on their chaotic past is something of which hope and promise is built.
When the mothers graduate from the Exodus Ministries 12-month program, they are only one-year out of prison. The progress they make in those 12-months is hard to believe. Many of their families have a hard time grasping that their loved one has accomplished something as challenging as completing the very rigorous Exodus Ministries program. But it is true!!! But they are only one-year out of prison and there is so much more to learn and experience.
That is where you come in. You have been following and supporting Exodus Ministries and the work God is doing here, and we are so grateful for and to you. We want to let you know about a dream we have had for many years. Since the Exodus Ministries program is a large down payment on a promising future for these families, we want you to begin thinking and praying about “Phase Two” of the Exodus Ministries program and what part you will play in its realization.
Phase Two will be the next step for the women who complete the Exodus Ministries program and are ready to move on to a less restrictive, but no less caring environment where they can put to use the skills and information they have learned. Each of the mothers will be required to be employed, pay rent, care for their children, and continue to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. They will consolidate all they have learned, continue to receive Christian counseling, and continue the rebuilding and restoration process, putting the chaotic period of their lives further into the past.
To accomplish this goal, we need another apartment building, funding, staff, and more! Won’t you join with us as pray for wisdom and divine guidance during the process of bringing this dream to reality?
The purpose of the Exodus Women’s Council is to raise awareness in our community of what God is doing through Exodus Ministries and to encourage Christian women to come alongside the women and children of Exodus and support them through prayer, by volunteering and with financial resources.
Members of the Exodus Women’s Council will be reminded through newsletters of special events such as our spring open house and fall fundraiser, as well as special needs and opportunities to give and volunteer in support of Exodus.
Our launch of the Women’s Council in 2016 was a humbling effort and a gratifying success! We hope you will join us this year to support the women and children of Exodus. Learn more at www.exodusministries.org/womenscouncil
